Pasadena

Pasadena, home to one of the "old towns" of the Los Angeles area, is gorgeous. While the midday sun was a bit harsh as we explored the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens, it didn't halt our appreciation of the Zen Garden or the Shakespeare collection. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory was holding open house, as well, so we checked it out and got to see the fabrication and assembly facilities for their spacecraft, in between trudging up and down the hilly campus. E3 draws closer and the tension is building - the Los Angeles Convention Center is already decked out in posters advertising the start of the show.
